More than 100 UMKC faculty and staff attended the Canvas Conference which was held at the Kauffman Foundation Conference Center on Friday, July 20th. There were three tracks participants could follow: Canvas 101, Tools in Canvas, and Accessibility. UMKC Provost Barbara Bichelmeyer opened the conference with remarks about the importance of online learning and connecting with students. Guests could play Canvas trivia during lunch and had the opportunity to win prizes during a raffle, featuring T-shirts, a wireless mouse, a webcam, and more.
