Joining a Meeting

Click on the meeting link to join a Zoom meeting. You can find the link in either your Zoom account (http://umsystem.zoom.us), or in the Zoom integration in a Canvas course site.

You’ll be prompted to install the Zoom launcher. See the Zoom Launcher Plug-in page for instructions if you have problems installing the launcher.

Host Controls in a Meeting

You will be able to share audio/video, desktop and applications in the session. Other features include chat, record, breakout rooms, etc.

Check the Host Control Guide for explanations of the icons and instruction.

NOTE: Practice in a test meeting to get familiar with the features, and make sure your microphone and webcam are working.
