Getting Started – Instructors

1.Activate your Zoom account.

University of Missouri students, faculty and staff no longer need to request or purchase  Zoom Licensed (pro) accounts.   

If you do not have a Zoom account yet, sign in to https://umsystem.zoom.us to activate the account.

2. After receiving the pro account invitation email, click the link in the email and sign in with your UMKC credentials.

3. Bookmark the login URL on your browser. You will need to sign in to this site to start meetings as a host.

4. Optional. Download the Zoom desktop client on your computer. The desktop client allows you to manage meetings without logging into the UMsystem Zoom website.
