To access your profile and settings, click Account in the global navigation menu.

As a UMKC student using Canvas, you can edit or change the following settings:

• Add or edit your user profile
• Add or edit a profile photo
• Set default language
• Set time zone (strongly recommended if you do not live in the Central time zone; this will update all due dates and times to your own time zone)
• Add a text (SMS) option for receiving course notifications
• Export assignment submissions from past and present courses
• Upload and manage files across courses
