
Top Hat is an interactive, cloud-based teaching platform that enables instructors to engage students both inside and outside the classroom with compelling content and activities. You can use Top Hat to take attendance, ask interactive questions with automated grading, and/or facilitate open-ended discussions and activities.
Top Hat is offering four summer online workshops for UMKC instructors who are interested in, or already have used Top Hat. Check out the workshop details and feel free to join any of them for free.
New Users Workshop:
In this online session, we’ll primarily focus on the key functionality of Top Hat, the Canvas integration that supports roster and grade syncing, as well as the pedagogical benefits of using the platform. Please join us on either of the following dates this summer:

Existing Users Workshop:
This online webinar will serve as a refresher course for those professors that have used/are using Top Hat. In addition, we will cover more advanced features and settings, such as the pages module, the Marketplace and recent updates and enhancements. There will be time for Q&A and we would like to gather feedback on your current experience. Please join us on either of the following dates this summer:
