Faculty Certification
Faculty/instructors are invited to register for the 6-week Online Teaching Certification Seminar that is designed to help deliver quality learning experiences for their students. The seminar is intended for faculty/instructors who have the responsibility to teach online for the University of Missouri System, including UMKC.
Verify Your Certification Status
Individuals with a current HR appointment may check their certification status in UMKC’s eLearning Tracker (requires SSO login).
Course Design Support
Through close collaboration with subject matter experts, Instructional Designers can help design purposeful learning objectives, create engaging course objects, and facilitate meaningful course design. We support the design, development, and evaluation of online, face-to-face, and blended instruction.
Accessibility
UMKC’s Faculty and Course Certification policies require online courses to meet nationally-mandated accessibility standards. Learn more about the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and resources available to you.
