The UMKC Instructional Design/Technology group would like to welcome Craig Short as our newest Instructional Technologist. Prior to joining UMKC, Craig worked at DEG Digital as a Marketing Cloud Specialist, where he delivered virtual and on-site training of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, developed personalized learning experiences, and helped marketers brainstorm successful implementation of software in their business needs.
Prior to DEG Digital, Craig was employed with Apple Inc. where he developed and training technical service and customer training teams, facilitated technical training in a classroom setting, cultivated effective and engaging learning equipment, and actively collaborated with store leader to design, deliver, and measure effective future training and on-going development plans.
Craig is not new to UMKC. He holds both a B.A. and an M.A. in Criminology from UMKC and will receive his M.A. in Educational Technology Research from The George Washington University this spring. In his spare time, Craig enjoys rehabbing his home, running on the trolley track trail, spending time with his wife and newborn baby girl (who will be arriving any day), and learning about and tasting new wines.
