Blackboard will be unavailable after the Summer 2019 semester. It’s time to archive the valuable course content you had created and move on to Canvas.
UMKC Instructional Design/Technology offers conversion services for faculty who wish to move Blackboard courses to Canvas. The course content can be imported into a new Canvas Course, or a sandbox course. To submit a sandbox or conversion request, login to Canvas and locate the “Canvas Request System”.
If you do not need to migrate the content now, you may still want to archive the course on your computer, and migrate it to Canvas later if necessary. Instructions can been found here.
